Katherine White, O.D. received her Doctorate of Optometry in 1994 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She obtained a Masters of Science degree in Physiological Optics from the same university, following her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1990.

After completing her residency in Primary Care/Eye Disease at The Eye Institute at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Dr. White co-founded Kirn Family Eye Care in 1995. Her professional interests include specialized contact lens fittings, pediatrics, and managing eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and cataracts. Dr. White is also active in her local community, volunteering for vision screenings and participating in various community organizations. Outside of work, Dr. White enjoys spending time with her family and pets.

Daniel P. Kirn, O.D. received his Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1994. He also holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology from Albright College and in Visual Sciences from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Kirn completed a residency in primary care and eye disease at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia.

In 1995, he co-founded Kirn Family Eye Care with Dr. White. Dr. Kirn has also served as a clinical instructor for the Pennsylvania College of Optometry Masters program for international optometrists and as an instructor for the Central Penn College Optometric Technician program. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Central Pennsylvania Optometric Society.

Outside of work, Dr. Kirn enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in activities like kayaking, hiking, wake-boarding, skiing, and traveling.
